History
Our story starts way back, when in 1984 a seed was sown in a remote village of Bihar...
Mithi Abhyudaya Foundation (Formerly Mithi Abhyudaya Sansthan) is an NGO serving India since 1984. It was in 1984 when a group of socially conscious people from a small Village of Madhubani, Bihar came together with a simple purpose- To serve the Unserved. They knew one thing- ‘शिव ज्ञाने जीव सेवा’ and It all started with digging of a fresh water bore-well especially to serve the Dalits in the village. Today we are working in different sectors including Health, Education, Environment Mitigation, Sanitation, Women Empowerment, Employment Livelihood, Poverty Alleviation, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and Disaster Management. In 39 Years of our Journey we have impacted around Nine Hundred Thousand Lives and in coming years we want to touch at least Fifty Million Lives through our services.

Our Mission:
To play the role of a facilitator for the benefit of people without distinction of caste or community, sect or religion, class or creed – in the field of education, community health and promotion of social and economic welfare and upliftment of people in general. Help India in alleviating poverty and eliminate social exclusion by facilitating the empowerment of women and girls from poor and marginalised communities.
Our Vision:
To accomplish passionate commitment to the social obligations towards communities, fostering sustainable and integrated development, thus improving quality of life. We focus on improving the socioeconomic wellbeing of the society, particularly of the less fortunate and underprivileged members and enable them to live up to the potential that they all possess. Thereby, creating an inclusive development paradigm that serves all Indians and delivering societal benefits to all geographical regions of the country without any regional, linguistic, caste, creed, religious or other barriers.
Our Goals:
Our Goals are multi-sectoral, they are enlisted as follows:
1. Health: Health Delivery at Doorstep, with a Chain of Charitable Hospitals serving secondary and tertiary Health and Mobile Medical Units serving Primary Health Needs of the Society. Make health a priority for the country through advocacy and health awareness.
2. Education: Increase the reach of education through farthest corners of the Country. Make our population productive, that are able to make decisions leading to better quality of life and an improved standard of living.
3. Environment: Decrease Carbon Footprint through innovative solutions and increase Total Green Cover in India.
4. Sanitation: Not only Clean Surroundings but Clean source of water for all.
5. Livelihood: Employment through Skill development and scholarship for Higher Education including SHG’s in creating opportunities for Women Empoerment.
6. Disaster Management: Help in mitigation and management of Disaster, natural or manmade.

Facilitating Sustainable Growth
For over three decades, Mithi Abhyudaya Foundation (Formerly Mithi Abhyudaya Sansthan) has contributed to the holistic development of underprivileged communities. It has been able to envelope people, planet and prosperity in the formulation and execution of its programs. Today, the Foundation’s reach covers 9 Lac people in around 320 villages across 11 states in India by facilitating quality education, enabling the youth with income-generating skills, generating sustainable and alternative livelihood opportunities from agriculture & animal husbandry, promoting a healthy society and supporting infrastructure development, providing better healthcare infrastructure, protecting environment, serving communities during disaster etc.
